No. Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam. According to Google’s Dictionary, a scam is “a dishonest scheme; a fraud.” Wealthy Affiliate is a platform that offers training, web hosting and a community that can help you create your own affiliate marketing business. According to the BBB, Wealthy Affiliate has an A+ rating.
Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to make money by setting up an affiliate marketing website. They train you step-by-step and offer the tools and support to help you succeed.
You can choose any niche (topic) that you like and they will teach you how to promote other people’s products and earn a commission. You don’t make money directly with Wealthy Affiliate (unless you promote their platform), they teach you how to make money.
No. According to Wikipedia, “A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products.”
And MLM is similar, except that you don’t have to just recruit people because you also have a product that you can sell. With an MLM, you are usually required to invest in products every month. This can cost you hundreds of dollars – or more.
Wealthy Affiliate is simply a training platform that teaches you how to create an online business.
Yes. I have my websites hosted at Wealthy Affiliate and they are completely secure. They also backup your websites daily to prevent any issues.
It is also safe to put your payment information in Wealthy Affiliate as they use secure, encrypted payment technology.
It is safe on the Wealthy Affiliate platform itself since they have a strict, no-spam policy. Anyone who is caught spamming and promoting within Wealthy Affiliate will be kicked off immediately. The platform is for educational purposes only.
The Free Starter Membership is absolutely free. You don’t even need your credit card to sign up. You just need an email address. Stay a Free Starter Member for as long as you like.
There is also a Premium Membership that does have a monthly cost.
Since Wealthy Affiliate is an educational platform, they don’t pay you. They teach you how to earn an income online.
If you decided to promote Wealthy Affiliate as your niche (topic), then they will pay you for each Premium referral you sign up. They pay via PayPal the first of every month.
The Affiliate Bootcamp training will teach you exactly how to go about promoting Wealthy Affiliate. What’s great is that if you did choose to go that route, Wealthy Affiliate has an incentive program where you can earn a free trip to Vegas!
There’s also some advanced training for promoting Wealthy Affiliate. You can contact me directly in the Wealthy Affiliate platform, and I’ll show you where it is.
I recommend going through Affiliate Bootcamp first though.
Wealthy Affiliate sells their platform which includes step-by-step training on how to set up an affiliate marketing website, plus web hosting, live weekly trainings, a community of like-minded people and so much more.
To be honest, that depends on you. Wealthy Affiliate gives you all the tools, training and support you need to start a thriving online business, but you need to take action on what you learn.
If you’re willing to take consistent action to reach your goals, then it’s 100% worth it. If you’re not, then you’ll be wasting your money and your time.
Here are some affiliate marketing success stories so you can see what’s possible.
Wealthy Affiliate is a training platform that will show you how to make an income online. You don’t make a profit with them, unless you use their affiliate program and promote Wealthy Affiliate. (You don’t have to, it’s just an option.)
Creating an online income through affiliate marketing isn’t fast or easy, but nothing worth it is. It takes time to learn the necessary skills to build a thriving website.
Wealthy Affiliate is owned by Kyle Loudoun and Carson Lim.
