I was watching a video by Myron Golden recently. If you know Myron, you know he’s a master of high-level frequency and massive scaling. When he looked into the camera and told me I wasn’t thinking big enough, my initial reaction was a visceral, “Hell yes, Myron! Let’s go!”
But then I paused. I looked at what I’m actually trying to build, and I realized something…
“Think Big” sounds good on paper, but is it actually the right path for most of us?
The parable of the “more is better” delusion
You’ve likely heard the story of the American investment banker and the Mexican fisherman. The banker sees the fisherman’s small haul and scoffs. He lays out a 20-year roadmap…
Catch more fish, buy a fleet, build a cannery, move to the chaotic heart of the city, and eventually IPO for millions.
“And then what?” the fisherman asks. The banker beams. “Then you retire! You move to a small village, sleep late, play with your kids, and sip wine with your amigos.”
The fisherman just looked at his guitar and smiled. He was already there.
We see this everywhere. A friend of mine recently visited the Dominican Republic and came back obsessed with helping a local tour guide scale with a website and marketing funnels.
My first thought? Why? If he has enough to fund his life and zero of the stress, why infect his peace with our Western obsession with more?
The 10x noise…
I’ve read the books. I’ve studied the 10X manuals. And while that energy is great for building million-dollar businesses, it’s often a cage for us creators.
There is a massive difference between a Corporate Empire and a Simple Digital Side Hustle.
- The Empire: High noise, high overhead, and constant scaling that requires you to manage people instead of creating.
- The Simple Digital Side Hustle: Low noise, zero friction, and “Quiet Income.”
“Think Big” is exciting to talk about, but it’s paralyzing to implement. It’s why most people are still thinking while the rest of us are doing.
The power of the “tiny” signal
Recently, I shared a link to a friend’s product. It wasn’t a $999 masterclass filled with bloat. It was a tiny digital product with a tiny price tag that solved one specific, annoying problem.
I sold nine of them in a single day.
That was a signal from the universe. People are tired of the big promise that under-delivers. They are looking for Simple Systems. They want the $7 or $9 solution that actually works so they can get back to their lives.
This is the future of the digital creator. Thinking Small. Or better yet, Thinking Tiny.
Create an efficient system
Mastering the flow of money isn’t about having the biggest pile. It’s about having the most efficient system. It’s about taking control of your variables so you can fund your experiences without the chaos of a big business.
If you want to fiddle on your computer, stay under the radar, and fund a high-vibe life without the Influencer headache, you don’t need to 10X your life. You need to optimize your system.
Your next step: simplify the flow
If you’re ready to stop thinking and start creating a system that actually works, I’ve mapped it out for you. My 2-Hour Digital Side Hustle System doesn’t promise you a fleet of ships or a cannery in Mexico.
It just shows you how to build tiny, repeatable assets that fund your version of “sipping wine with your amigos.”
