China Cash Clone Review [It’s Not a Scam, But Is It Worth $9?]

Welcome to my China Cash Clone review!

China Cash Clone is a product that claims it will help you make “easy” money in just a few minutes a day.

In fact:

They claim you can make up to $5,000 every day!

This product focuses on e-commerce, and more specifically, dropshipping. But is dropshipping as easy as setting it and forgetting it? Is it the perfect path to passive income?

Let’s find out in this China Cash Clone review.

Summary

China Cash Clone states in the sales video that you can easily make up to $5,000 a day through setting up your own dropshipping store. Dropshipping is a legitimate way to earn an income online, but it’s not as simple as this product is making it out to be. And unfortunately, there’s not enough information within this program to help you even make $1.

  • Inexpensive
  • 60-day money-back guarantee
  • Dropshipping is a legitimate way to earn an income online
  • Unknown product owner (“Daniel Barber” is a fake name)
  • Outlandish income claims
  • Says you only need a few minutes a day, which is not true
  • Says you don’t need any special qualifications, which is not true
  • Fake testimonials
  • The comment section on the sales page is fake

Recommended?

I do not recommend China Cash Clone. The information and training that you get is too basic to understand the whole world of dropshipping. There are may questions left unanswered. Especially “How do I get traffic to my dropshipping store?”

Interested in making money online, but tired of the scams and low-quality products? See my #1 recommendation instead.

What is China Cash Clone?

China Cash Clone is a make money online product that claims you can make $5,000 today and that your spot is ready to be filled by others if you don’t hurry before the clock runs out.

There's a lot of hype on the China Cash Clone sales page.

From my experience in online marketing, this is just a lot of hype. While it’s possible to make $5,000, it’s not something that happens quickly. You have to build up your skills first.

The China Cash Clone sales page.

The sales video says we can download this new software that works by exploiting a “little-known glitch” in the internet. This will allow us to clone a method that people in China are using to get rich.

The video claims that making money with this is easy and we don’t need any prior experience or special qualifications.

What is Dropshipping?

The China Cash Clone is all about dropshipping. What is drop shipping? According to Shopify,

“Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn’t keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the merchant never sees or handles the product.

The biggest difference between dropshipping and the standard retail model is that the selling merchant doesn’t stock or own inventory. Instead, the merchant purchases inventory as needed from a third party – usually a wholesaler or manufacturer – to fulfill orders.”

The China Cash Clone says it’s “ridiculously easy money”, but I don’t think it’s as simple as that. While dropshipping is a completely legitimate way to make an income online, there’s actually a lot to it and you will definitely need to invest time and money to make it work, just like anything else.

Here is a video that explains it a little more:

How Does China Cash Clone Work?

When you purchase China Cash Clone, you are immediately directed to three upsells.

  • Upsell 1 = $197, then downsell to $177
  • Upsell 2 = $147
  • Upsell 3 = $67

Spending $9 on the product is just a way to get you in the door and they hope that you will spend more on the upsells. Since I didn’t purchase any of the upsells, i can’t speak to how good they are (or aren’t).

Here’s a look inside the member’s area:

China Cash Clone review - Member's Area.

Let’s go over what’s in each step.

Step 1: VIP Member’s Workshop

This is nothing but a link to a webinar by John Crestani. This is an affiliate offer, which means that if you completed the workshop, and decided to purchase whatever John’s offering, whoever runs China Cash Clone would make an affiliate commission.

Nothing wrong with affiliate marketing (it’s actually what I do, and I’ll talk about it more in a bit), but I just paid $9 to learn about dropshipping and so far all I see is an offer for another product.

Step 2: Get Started

There is some training in this area. There are 5 training videos, plus 2 plugins and the software to download.

  • Video 1: Setting up your WordPress website
  • Video 2: Customizing your site
  • Video 3: Woocommerce set up
  • Video 4: Aliexpress training
  • Video 5: Manage orders

I have some issues with the videos. The content is pretty good, but not thorough enough to really understand e-commerce and how to drive traffic and market your store. The videos are short, basic trainings on getting a dropshipping store set up.

My issues with the videos are:

  • You can’t make them full screen, and it’s really hard to see what’s happening because they’re really small
  • You can’t rewind or fast forward. If you want to see a part of the training again, you’ll have to start over.

Step 3: Your VIP Upgraded Products

This is a video that talks about the benefits of upgrading your account.

Online Reviews / Complaints

I only saw one person mention that they bought and used the upgraded version of China Cash Clone. They said that the training was OK, but all the videos were really short and not really worth it. (I guess that answers the question about whether the upgrade is worth it.)

Is China Cash Clone a Scam or Legit?

China Cash Clone isn’t a scam, but it’s also not worth buying, in my opinion. As I mentioned above, the content in the training videos is OK, but I think you can find free training on how to set up an e-commerce store that’s just as good.

My bigger issue is with the videos themselves. They’re too hard to follow because they’re too small and you can’t fast forward and rewind. Threre’s also no text training, so you would have to rely on the videos.

I also personally don’t like the shady tactics used on the sales page. Let’s go over some of those now.

Tactic 1 – Daniel’s Story

Many of these make money online products have a ficticious character with a fictious story. (Because facts tell and stories sell.) China Cash Clone is no different. We have “Daniel Barber” and he said he grew up in a small town and didn’t feel he was worthy of having a great life.

He never went to college and he had a lot of dead-end jobs. He was a huge dissapointment to his parents. But he was somehow able tp save up enough to travel the world. He met a successful business man while on his travels who scammed him out of all his savings.

Then he headed to China and met a man who didn’t scam him and told him about this software that makes him money on autopilot. Daniel got set up and started to make money the very first day. In fact, here’s what Daniel said he made in the first few days:

Week 1 payments are very large and unbelievable.

Again, this is a nice story and all, but there’s zero proof that it’s true. (Because it isn’t. It’s just a story.)

Tactic 2 – The Testimonials

China Cash Clone has some testimonials, which may seem convincing at first. The first testimonial says he’s been using this software for just two weeks and has already made $60,000.

Our second testimonial says she’s a student and a single mom so it’s hard to find time to make money. But now she just logs into the software a few minutes a day and makes money.

Our third testimonial has been using the software for 5 months and has already made $710,000.

The problem is that these testimonials are not real. First, the income claims are outrageous. You’re not going to make $60,000 in two weeks of doing anything new. That’s not how this works.

Secondly, these guys are actors. The 2nd two testimonials I’ve seen promoting other products I’ve reviewed in the past. Here’s one of the guys next to his Fiverr promotion.

Testimonials are faked.

This is a big red flag to me because when a product is actually good and legitmate, it’s easy to find real testimonials. You don’t need to hire actors.

Tactic 3 – Fake Comment Section

Having a comment section seems to be a new strategy for these sales pages and it’s one I saw in 30 Minute Money Methods too.

The comments section doesn't really work.

The thing is, when you try to leave a comment, it loops you right back to the sales page. It’s a sneaky way to get your email address which they can then use to sell you other products.

Affiliate Marketing Versus Dropshipping

I have never done dropshipping, but from what I have heard, it’s actually quite a bit harder than affiliate marketing. (Which is funny since the China Cash Clone video says it’s easy money…)

In either case, both take time to learn new skills, and both will take some sort of money investment, although with affiliate marketing it’s a small investment.

The same may be true for dropshipping, although I know that you’ll need to buy traffic or ads to get people to your store, and that can add up.

The reason I enjoy affiliate marketing so much is because:

  • It’s flexible. Work when and where you want.
  • No need to deal with inventory of any kind.
  • No need to deal with customer service.
  • Don’t need to talk to anyone on the phone.
  • You attract people to you instead of chasing sales.
  • Small investment to start.

In case you’re not sure what affiliate marketing is, the most basic explanation is that you promote other people’s products for a commission.

Remember I said Step 1 in the training above was an affiliate product? Whoever is behind China Cash Clone will make commissions on anyone who signs up for the John Crestani product when they click on that link in the member’s area.

Doing affiliate marketing that way is a little shady, in my opinion, because it’s almost like you’re tricking someone into that offer. Not all affiliate marketers are the same, I assure you.

Conclusion

I hope this China Cash Clone review gave you enough information about whether or not it’s worth it for you to purchase. If you are interested in e-commerce and dropshipping, and you’re also interested in affiliate marketing, my #1 recommendation actually has both.

While it’s more focused on affiliate marketing, there is plenty of dropshipping training too, including The Art of Dropshipping. (Available to Premium members.) We’ve got it all.

What is your #1 takeaway from this China Cash Clone review? Do you think this is a program you would ever consider joining? Why or why not? Have you done dropshipping? What was your experience like? Leave me your thoughts down below.

  1. I’m glad to see the initial price only being at $9, since it seems to be lower quality than other reviews I’ve read which can save people from making the mistakes of purchasing the upsell. For me, the red flag comes up when I see the sense of urgency claiming your spot is about to be filled. That’s definitely a scam tactic, even if the product itself isn’t a scam. Fake owners and false testimonials are never a good thing either, and the trained eye knows to look elsewhere.

    • Thankfully it is only $9, AND you can get your money back too which is nice. The concept of what this training is isn’t bad, I just wish they put more effort into it. How do they expect people to not ask for refunds when  you can even see the training videos clearly?

If these guys would just put some effort into what they’re doing, then I feel like the would be so much better off and they could get REAL testimonials.

  2. This is interesting because a few weeks ago I had purchased through that same sales page. Paid $9 was sent to a members area that has a lot of videos.

On SEO, Dropshipping, link building 2019: google SEO #1 rankings tactic, ultimate email marketing and autoresponder guide, ClickFunnels, beginner affiliate marketing home business, 1000% landing page optimization & sales funnels, how to get customers to spend more.

I haven’t gone through every single section. I will say the one that I got the videos were pretty short. A few minutes each videos but ther were a lot of videos.

I looked it up to see if others got the same as I did. Come to find out all the others got the same as you.

I wonder why I got something different compared to you and others?

    Maybe a glitch?

I did notice that another program I purchased around the same time called bulletproof profits. Is in the videos teaching in china cash clone.

Some guy named Alex D I forget his last name.

Also I don’t really recommend the version I got not the version you got. I don’t mind bite sized portions but they aren’t complete like you said.

    • The comment I saw also said he got the upgraded version for $9 (it sounds like that’s what you got), so maybe it was a glitch. Or a super special launch deal? It sounds like you got a lot more training, which is good. But if someone had to pay the VIP prices, it doesn’t sound like they would be very happy with that.

I had read that he’s the same guy as in Bulletproof Profits. I didn’t look on the inside of that one. It’s the same videos? Or at least some of them? I’d be annoyed if I bought both programs! lol

Anyway, thanks for your input, Matthew! I appreciate it.

  3. Dropshipping business is not an easy business. It is more expensive than affiliate marketing. So, how do they want to make their product very easy for user ? Even their training is not enough to make the product easier because of the short video content without text review. The $9 is okay to check the product out if it worth it. I must commend them for the price. However, their fake comment and testimony is a big red flag. We will decide to stay in a place where lies are gaining ground? If the product is very good, it will sell itself and get quality testimonies and comments. This review will be very useful for anyone looking for clearification about China cash clone.

    • Thanks for your thoughts, Stella. I haven’t tried dropshipping, but I can imagine that the prices are higher because if nothing else, you need to buy traffic and/or ads to get traffic to your store. It’s not like affiliate marketing where you can get your site to rank in the search engines for free traffic. Unless you stick a blog on your site too? I guess that could work. I don’t know, I think I’ll stick to affiliate marketing for now!

  4. Hi Christina,
Thanks for bringing up this topic.
I have never been heard before about this make money online program. beside from all aspects of this program you’ve cited down here,-like bad quality of videos- some questions are left unanswered here. Underneath the sub heading of GETTING STARTED based on their product specifications(setting up and customizing website) I am wondering that,do they give ability and tools such as web hosting and any other stuff to their members? just they show how to set-up website?! If so, there are a bunch of tutorials and training out there for free.
Anyway ,Thanks for your honest review. Bookmarked Your page.

    • Thanks so much for your comment and question! I went to go back and look at the first China Cash Clone training video because it’s all about setting up your website. I wanted to see if you have to have your own hosting, or if they host it for you, but I missed the part, and it’s so frustrating trying to go back to see because you can’t rewind and fast forward the video!

I think though that you do need to buy your own domain name and hosting to make it work.
