Affiliate SEO Mastery is a course designed to help you understand SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and how to master it to get better Google rankings (and traffic). To be honest, I was a little skeptical before I purchased this product. I mean, can’t you learn everything online for free?
No.
If you’re looking for how to get more traffic with your blog then you have to understand that sometimes you are going to have to invest in tools and training to get you where you need to go. It’s just how it is and it’s not a big deal.
Because all you have to do is ask yourself:
“Will this make me money in the long run?”
With Affiliate SEO Mastery, the answer is a definite YES. Because better SEO = better rankings = more traffic = more sales.
Let’s go over what’s in the course.
Affiliate SEO Mastery Modules
The Affiliate SEO Mastery course is done through Teachable, which I love because Teachable is very organized and easy to navigate. The course is broken up into 6 modules :
- Module 1 – Welcome to SEO Mastery
- Module 2 – Step #1: Finding, Using & Understanding Keywords
- Module 3 – Step #2: Creating Content that Ranks on Page 1
- Module 4 – Step #3: Taking Your SEO Traffic to the Next Level
- Module 5 – Understanding the Full Picture
- Module 6 – Bonus SEO Content
Module 1 – Welcome to SEO Mastery
This module is an introduction to the course and to SEO and what makes SEO so powerful.
Chris posted an amazing graphic in this section of the course which shows an article of his that he wrote in 2016 and how much traffic it’s brought in over time. (Hint: 2 years later and it’s still bringing in traffic!)
Module 2 – Step #1: Finding, Using & Understanding Keywords
If you’re brand new to SEO, Chris takes care of you by explaining exactly what keywords are and why they’re so important. He then tells you what kinds of keywords you want to find and – IMPORTANT – how to understand the intent behind a user’s search.
(Finding the right intent = sales!) 
One of my favorite things in this whole course is in this part. There’s a keyword tool that Chris tells us about in the “7 Ways to Find Easy-to-Rank for Keywords” section. It’s the first one that he mentions in there (and one that I’ve never heard of before). It’s such a great tool that will really help you find some great keywords, and it’s FREE.
I also love the section on “Building Authority (Numbers Don’t Matter). This was definitely an eye-opener for me!
Module 3 – Step #2: Creating Content that Ranks on Page 1
This is a really meaty module, as it should be since this is at the heart of what we’re all looking for. Do you really want to know how to get more traffic with your blog? You gotta rank on Page 1 of Google! (And Bing and Yahoo, but Google is the most important since it drives the most traffic.)
You can see that there is GREAT stuff in this module. Here, Chris will set your mind at ease about writing. (Hint: You don’t have to be a great writer. I sure ain’t! lol)
He also talks about what kind of content Google LOVES to rank, and which content they hate ranking. One of the best things I learned was in this module. It was in the section titled “How Long Should Blog Posts Be?”
You can see I commented about it. You can also see that someone else really like this lesson as well!
“Countdown to Maximum Traffic Potential” will teach you why it’s important to think long-term with SEO. Chris shows you with a couple of fascinating charts that you won’t want to miss.
“The 10/10/10 Content Plan” is awesome if you’re starting out a new blog, and I wish I had known it when I started this one. All good though, now I know for future sites that I develop!
Module 4 – Step #3: Taking Your SEO Traffic to the Next Level
Once you’ve gotten your SEO going by using the information you learn in the first three modules, now Module 4 will REALLY help you step it up and Dominate search results. That’s right. I said Dominate. With an upper case D!
This is probably my favorite module overall because you can really see how laying the foundation of your SEO will bring you to a certain point. THEN Chris shows you how you can really step up your game by using the teachings in this section.
He talks about the importance of your menu, how to optimize your homepage and how to create an SEO Pyramid. This stuff is genius!
“The Secret to 1000+% Increases” will seriously give your site a kick in the SEO butt. I can’t give away all of Chris’s secrets, but if you have some posts that are struggling, THIS is what you want to read. You still have treasures hidden among your posts.
Module 5 – Understanding the Full Picture
In this module, Chris has you step back and he gives you a clear understanding of the entire SEO picture.
I love this entire module because it’s all about working WITH Google (not against them) to give you, Google, and readers the best results possible. What I learned here if you play by Google’s rules, you will safeguard your site against Google penalties and set yourself up for long-term success. Everyone wins.
There’s also a Q&A section here where you can ask Chris questions. I have asked Chris a few questions myself, and what I’ve learned is that he’s genuinely interested in helping YOU succeed.
Module 6 – Bonus SEO Content
We’ve come to the final module of the Affiliate SEO Mastery course. This is a bonus section with additional SEO tips, tools and tricks. Here I learned all about “Launch Jacking” and why it may not be the best idea. (Oops! I think I have been doing that, but I didn’t know. Until now.)
It’s also interesting to see Google’s leaked Search Guidelines. You can see EXACTLY what Google is looking for when they’re looking at posts and how to rank them. “The Search Intent Metric” is really, really good and something that you need to master in order to really learn how to drive sales.
That’s one I’ll definitely need to go over a few times to hammer it right into my brain! And I suggest you do the same. 🙂
Affiliate SEO Mastery – My Results
As soon as I got the Affiliate SEO Mastery course, I started implementing Chris’s suggestions immediately. I went through the course as I was writing a couple of my blog posts.
Here are results from two of my posts.
I started going through Affiliate SEO Mastery on February 15. I published this post on February 15. This article is sitting at the #4 spot on Google’s first page.
Here’s another post that I published on February 17. This one is in the #6 spot on Google’s page 1.

Going through Christian’s SEO Affiliate Mastery course was definitely an eye-opener for me. While I felt I had a good foundation with Wealthy Affiliate’s training (and I did), Chris’s course helped push me to the next level in SEO knowledge.
If you’re someone just starting out in SEO, Chris will walk you through the process right from the beginning. If you’re someone who knows a bit about SEO, then you’re likely in the same boat as me and can learn from Chris’s advanced strategies to really give your site a boost.
In any case, this course is perfect for anyone looking to learn how to get more traffic with your blog – no matter where you are on your journey. Because we can always use more traffic.
This course is a STEAL at $97, and I hope it’s still that price for you. If not, it will still be WORTH IT.
Questions I like to ask myself when buying a course like this:
- Does the person who created the course have the results that I want?
- Can I copy his instructions to get the same results?
If the answer is yes, then I know it’s absolutely worth it. If you follow what Chris tells you, you will HAVE to get results. Therefore, you will have to make more sales. Therefore, you will easily cover the cost of the course.

Thanks for reading my post on how to get more traffic with your blog. To answer your question, I absolutely think Wealthy Affiliate is the BEST place to learn how to get a blog up and running. It also taught me a lot about SEO and how to rank in the search engines.
But, I felt like I needed just a *bit* more to get more traffic. That’s why I tried out Chris’s SEO Affiliate Mastery course.
I do think we have *just* about everything we need inside of Wealthy Affiliate, but I also think it’s good to have different perspectives and ideas from other people outside of Wealthy Affiliate.
(Although, P.S. Chris is also a Wealthy Affiliate member. 😉 )
