Is TCP Lifestyle System a Scam? [No, But You’ll Want to Know This First]

Is TCP Lifestyle System a Scam?

Is TCP Lifestyle System a scam? That’s a question I’ll be helping you answer today.

Although:

You can see I’ve already kind of answered it for you in the title of this post. It’s not a scam. But there are some things you’ll want to know before joining.

Like how they say it’s “free” to join. It is, but not really.

Clear as mud, right?

I’ll tell you all about it below.

Let me show you what TCP Lifestyle System is all about. Then you can decide if it’s right for you.

Let’s dive in!

What Is TCP Lifestyle System?

According to the TCP Lifestyle System sales page, this is a system that is free (as the headline says “embrace the free” and will completely change our lives.

TCP Lifestyle System Sales Video<img alt=”TCP Lifestyle System Sales Video” width=”619″ height=”417″ title=”TCP_Lifestyle_SalesVid” data-id=”6131″ src=”https://christinapiccoli.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/TCP_Lifestyle_SalesVid.jpg” style=”width: 100%;”>

While watching the sales video for the TCP Lifestyle System, it’s very easy to get caught up in the hype and to feel excited about creating a new lifestyle for yourself. Especially when you don’t have to pay anything!

But:

There’s a catch.

We’ll get back to that soon.

How does this work? According to the video:

  1. You get the ultimate marketing and tool system
  2. You will get mentored by top money earners who will show you what to do step-by-step
  3. You will give away this system to others

We’ll talk about how all this actually works in the next section.

Let’s get into it.

How Does TCP Lifestyle System Work?

TCP Lifestyle System is actually just a sales funnel for another product called The Conversion Pros. (That’s what TCP stands for,)

We’ll talk about The Conversion Pros in a minute, but first let me tell you about the sales funnel so that this will all make more sense to you.

I like CrazyEgg.com’s explanation of a sales funnel:

“Here’s the sales funnel explained in the simplest form: The path website visitors take on the way to buying your product or service. Some people never leave the top of the sales funnel, while others reach the very end.”

The first step in a sales funnel is awareness. That’s what this TCP Lifestyle System sales video is all about. Then, when you enter your name and email, you move to the next stage of the funnel.

TCP Lifestyle System - Top of the sales funnel is awareness.<img alt=”TCP Lifestyle System – Top of the sales funnel is awareness.” width=”619″ height=”261″ title=”TCPLifestyle_Funnel” data-id=”6132″ src=”https://christinapiccoli.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/TCPLifestyle_Funnel.jpg” style=”width: 100%;”>

Once the person behind this funnel has your name and email, they can send you emails and promote this offer to you again, send you helpful information and also promote other offers.

How Does This Relate to TCP Lifestyle System?

What happens with TCP Lifestyle System is that you join this funnel and you’ll also be promoting the same funnel to others.

You will send people to this same sales video page to try to get them on a list so that you can then promote The Conversion Pros. When you promote The Conversion Pros and someone joins, you get a commission. (We’ll talk about how this works in a minute.)

This is considered a “done for you” sales funnel. It’s already completed for you. You just need to hook it up with your information.

The Pros & Cons of Done-For-You Sales Funnels

I think there are pros and cons to these done-for-you sales funnels.

Pros:

  • Easy to set up
  • Funnels used are usually already proven to convert

Cons:

  • It’s not unique and therefore people may tire of seeing it
  • You don’t get to learn the skills of building it out yourself
  • You’ll have to pay for traffic to send people to it

Funnels in general have some pros and cons. While they’re awesome for capturing leads, you have to pay to send traffic to them. (Versus a blog like this can use SEO and grab free search engine traffic.)

What is The Conversion Pros?

Let’s go back to The Conversion Pros for a minute and then we’ll tie all of this together.

The Conversion Pros is a suite of tools that you can use to grow an online business.

According to their homepage, they have:

  • A Landing Page Builder
  • (CRM) Contact Relations Software
  • Automated Emails
  • (SMS) Broadcast Text Messages

The Conversion Pros is a suite of business building tools. <img alt=”The Conversion Pros is a suite of business building tools. ” width=”679″ height=”314″ title=”TCPLifestyleSystem_TCP” data-id=”6135″ src=”https://christinapiccoli.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/TCPLifestyleSystem_TCP.jpg” style=”width: 100%;”>

From my research, it’s actually a really good product with happy customers.

How Does TCP Lifestyle System and The Conversion Pros Tie Together?

Here’s how this whole thing works:

  • You sign up with TCP Lifestyle System.
  • You sign up with The Conversion Pros
  • You take the TCP Lifestyle System funnel and drive traffic to it
  • When others sign up with The Conversion Pros, you’ll make a commission

This is called affiliate marketing and it’s a legitimate way to do business online. It’s actually what I do, although I do it slightly differently, which I’ll talk about a little later.

What’s the Catch?

Remember that catch I told you about earlier? While it’s true that The Conversion Pros is free, it’s only for a limited time. It’s free for 14 days, and then the cost goes to $50 per month.

This is pretty standard in the industry, but it’s something you need to keep in mind for yourself and for anyone who you’re trying to market this product to.

Now, the good news is that if someone signs up with The Conversion Pros and stays after the 2-week trial, you’ll make $25 (50% commissions) for every month that they stay a member.

This is called recurring commissions. Recurring commissions are great because they help you build a steady stream of reliable income.

Is TCP Lifestyle System a Scam or Legit?

TCP Lifestyle System is not a scam, and The Conversion Pros is also not a scam. TCP Lifestyle System is just a sales funnel to try to get people into The Conversion Pros.

While it may seem really easy to make money with this done-for-you system, I just want to point something out. It’s something that I mentioned earlier, but I didn’t talk about it in detail.

I mentioned earlier that I also am an affiliate marketer, but I do things a little differently on this website. (Although, I have some funnels. I’ll show you one in a minute.)

This website is focused on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I use certain keywords to try to rank in the search engines so that I can grab free traffic.

For instance:

You probably typed “Is TCP Lifestyle System a scam?” into your search bar. Through research that I did, I know that people are looking for that information, so I created an article about it to try to help those who are looking for it.

As long as I can get my article to rank in the search engines, I can get free traffic from it.

Done-for-you funnels (or any site that is just a funnel) doesn’t work that way. Since there really isn’t a way to rank in the search engines with a funnel (unless you add a blog to it), you’ll have to spend money to send traffic to it.

(You can post your funnel on social media, blogs, Facebook groups, etc, but that’s going to be pretty slow going unless you have a huge following.)

Buying traffic is a whole other thing you’ll have to learn how to do, and you may spend a good amount of money while you learn it

It’s not right or wrong, just something you need to know.

What are All the Costs of TCP Lifestyle System?

We talked about this, but I wanted to put it all together for you because there may be even more costs to this that you aren’t aware of. Let’s add it all up:

  • Joining TCP Lifestyle System = Free because it’s just a funnel
  • Joining The Conversion Pros = Free for 14 days, then $50 / month
  • Buying traffic to send to your funnel = Unknown. There are a lot of factors here. But you could spend quite a bit.
  • Email autoresponder = You’ll need a way to send people emails. These are generally around $20 / month.
  • Domain name = $13 / year, approximately
  • Web hosting = You may or may not need web hosting, depending on how this is set up. If so, then that’s anywhere from about $5 – $20 / month.

As you can see, this isn’t exactly a free system to make you money. And it won’t be super fast and easy because it’s going to take you time to learn how to set everything up and market to the right people.

That’s why I prefer SEO to start. You can learn to build out a website and drive traffic without paying for the traffic piece. Once you get good, you can expand.

What are All the Costs of TCP Lifestyle System?

Here’s an example of a funnel that I use on this site. If you try to leave my site, you’ll see this pop-up:

This is a pop-up as a part of my sales funnel. <img alt=”This is a pop-up as a part of my sales funnel. ” width=”611″ height=”300″ title=”TCPLifestyleSystem_popup” data-id=”6133″ src=”https://christinapiccoli.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/TCPLifestyleSystem_popup.jpg” style=”width: 100%;”>

This is a pop-up as a part of my sales funnel.

If you decide you want to see the formula, you’ll click the button and go to the next page where you’ll enter your email address:

Enter your email address on the second part of the pop-up.<img alt=”Enter your email address on the second part of the pop-up.” width=”612″ height=”272″ title=”TCPLifestyleSystem_Popup2″ data-id=”6134″ src=”https://christinapiccoli.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/TCPLifestyleSystem_Popup2.jpg” style=”width: 100%;”>

Enter your email address on the second part of the pop-up.

Now I’ll be able to communicate with you more, provide value and try to help you create your own online success.

My funnel isn’t a done-for-you system, it’s something I put together to help enhance my website and help the people who come here.

Conclusion

I hope I helped you answer the question “Is TCP Lifestyle System a scam?”. It really isn’t a scam, but rather a sales funnel to get you into The Conversion Pros. You can then use the same done-for-you sales funnel to get other people into The Conversion Pros, where you can collect a commission on anyone who joins.

I hope I helped you become aware of the actual costs associated with this, There are some people in my business who are not fans of these done-for-you sales funnels. I can understand that because you’re not putting out something unique, and people may get tired of seeing the same thing.

(I personally don’t like done-for-you websites but funnels are a bit different.)

There’s no right or wrong here though. You have to go with what feels best to you when you’re creating an online income.

  1. It seems to me that this whole package relies very much upon how effective, and how good, the The Conversion Pros product is?

I mean, it looks pretty basic to me and I’m thinking the $50 ticket price is maybe a bit high – is it really a good product worth all the hassle of promoting through a funnel?

    • Well, I guess it is worth it to this person! I suppose if you can get enough volume it’s not a bad way to earn an income because it’s recurring.

Well I guess I know better now and this done for you will on link me to make commissions. I’m not sure I want to do this, is there a better platform online where I can make good buck part-time?

    • Well, I’m always going to recommend my #1 way to earn an income online – affiliate marketing. The best place to learn affiliate marketing (in my humble opinion) is through Wealthy Affiliate. They have all the tools, training and support that you need to get a thriving online business up and running.

While The Conversion Pros looks like a great place to learn as well, I haven’t seen any other site that has the same level of support and tools as Wealthy Affiliate. They have the absolute BEST community out there with over 1 million members.

  3. Thanks for this informative post, this is the first time I’m actually coming  across this website, and with the way you have explained how this works,  it does sound like a legitimate site where one can build a sales funnel, I also don’t like the idea of done for you system but I’m going to have a good look at this and see how it’s going to help me build a successful business online.

    • Done-for-you sales funnels are ok, but just keep in mind that you’ll have to pay to get people to see it. You have to pay for traffic. If you’d rather learn how to get free traffic, then I would recommend learning how to set up your own website and getting ranked in the search engines. Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to do this step by step, and that’s why they remain my #1 recommendation.

  4. Hi Christina.

I really enjoy your post and the way you introduce yourself. I think you gave a good insight on TCP, I especially appreciate the information on the costs related to the use of this site, joining cost, buying traffic, email autoresponder, domain name etc. This is very relevant information that make you think of your next move if money is tight.

    • Yea, I understand how they say that The Conversion Pros is “free”, but it really isn’t. I think with any sort of business online, there are going to be additional expenses that come up. It’s just a part of doing business. I think it’s good to keep people aware of that so that they don’t get in over their heads.
