This sales video starts off like all the rest. This system is “highly confidential” and “shockingly profitable.” And we’re not allowed to share this private video with anyone. They’re deadly serious. I’m always amazed at how many buzz words can fit in the first 30 seconds of a video.
Our spokesperson for Five Minute Profit Sites is Sam Smith. There’s even a picture of her! (Which I guarantee is just a stock photo of some lovely model.)
No matter what your skills or age, you can make consistent money every day from a “secret” industry estimated to be worth over $12 million! This is a little goldmine hidden away from the public. (Oh man, how many times are we going to hear this one?)
It has nothing to do with:
- Bitcoin
- Cryptocurrency
It’s just so simple to exploit this cash cow with or system. This system provides a done-for-you website in under 5 minutes and 17 clicks. (lolololol! That one gets me every time! Where do they come up with this stuff?) That’s why it’s called Five Minute Profit Sites, duh!
This is a point-and-click software system used to make fast money via affiliate marketing. It’s legal, ethical, new and unseen. Sam will give us a free license to use this amazing software. Aren’t we lucky?
Does this sound too good to be true? No, no. No way! Look at all this proof that they know how to make money online. Look at all those payments!
(Meanwhile, those payments generally come from people buying their products, like Five Minute Profit Sites, not because Five Minute Profit Sites will actually make you money like this. Ooops, am I spilling the beans too soon? Let’s move on…)

As an affiliate, all you have to do is find people who want to buy products. When they buy from you, you get a commission. It’s that simple! (Well, not quite, but we’ll get to that later.)
In order to make money online, you need the right tools and the secret shortcuts. As a beginner, you face 3 challenges:
- How do you build a website that can actually make you money?
- How do you find websites that sell great products?
- How you find people to buy products from your website?
The solution is in their system of course! They’ll build you the website, show you where to find products that sell and take you step-by-step through the process of finding people to buy your products. You only need 23 minutes a day! (hahahahaha good one!)
It’s virtually impossible to fail with this system!
The software is free and the website is free, but there is a cost for hosting. They don’t say how much in the video, but we’ll tackle that in the next section.
To be honest, I thought this sales video was going to be a mess after seeing all the hype when I first clicked on it. But I’m impressed that there weren’t any fancy cars or mansions mentioned, and that they actually took you through how the system works. But let’s dig in a little more and see if we think this will actually work.
How Does Five Minute Profit Sites Work?
Well, I was about to sign up and get my FREE software license to really dig into this thing and see how it works, but here’s what I saw.
D’oh! It’s actually $37. (Plus, you’ll need to pay for an autoresponder, which is a monthly charge.)
But, I think we learned a lot in this sales video (which is highly unusual). This is an affiliate marketing product where they will build you a website and host it for you. It also sounds like they have some training on how to drive traffic to your site so that you can make affiliate sales on the products you’re promoting.
Affiliate marketing is what I do and is absolutely a legitimate way to make money online. So would I recommend this system? Let’s talk about it below.
Is Five Minute Profit Sites a Scam or Legit?
Five Minute Profit Sites is not a scam. It looks like you get a decent nice system for your $37. They make it quick and easy to build a website so that you can get started right away. (In 5 minutes and 17 clicks! lol)
Do I recommend it? It sounds like I recommend it, right?? (You can probably also tell which way I’m going by that big orange thumb over there.)
NO.
There are some problems with this product.
1. They’re setting unrealistic expectations from the start. Can you make $500 a day with affiliate marketing? Yes! Will it happen quickly? Nope. Not at all. Let’s say you build a site with their system. Great! Now you have a site, but now what? Yes, they said they’ll teach you how to find traffic, but it takes time to build up trust and have traffic start coming to you. It could actually take years before you’ll be able to make $500 per day.
2. They’re giving you a done-for-you website. It seems so easy right? Yes, but there are problems with this. This site is not your own. This site is a part of Five Minute Profit Sites and whoever is the owner of the system. If anything happens to the system, your website is gone.
Also, your site will look the same as everyone else’s Five Minute Profit Sites website. Google will HATE that. They do not rank websites that are exactly like other websites. Which means you will get no traffic.
Finally, these websites look like scammy marketing websites. You are not going to gain trust with people with a hyped-up sales site. If you want to have an affiliate marketing website, that’s great. But learn how to do it the RIGHT way!
Learn Affiliate Marketing the RIGHT Way
As mentioned above, I absolutely agree that affiliate marketing has a ton of opportunity. The thing is, you can build your OWN website that is your OWN property on any subject that you like. If you build a great website and have lots of content that people enjoy reading, you will gain authority, people will trust you, Google will trust you and you will make WAY more sales than any done-for-you website ever could.
Do you like to golf? You could build a website on the best golfing shoes. Do you like cats? How about a website dedicated to the best cat toys? Perhaps you like gardening. You could build a website about how to grow plants inside the house in pots. (I need to know how to do this, please. I kill all my poor plants!)

You can see from the chart that while Five Minute Profit Sites does have some good qualities about it, Wealthy Affiliate still blows it out of the water with what they offer. (By the way, I marked Five Minute Profit Sites as not having a domain platform. While they do give you a domain, you don’t get to choose your very own.)
You will get everything you need to build a profitable website. I learned everything I know from Wealthy Affiliate, and I will remain a member because I continually learn more every single day to make my website better and better. I am completely set for the future.

These so called money making scams are just that scams. I like a lot of people have bought into these scams just to find out that behind the door there are more products that you have to buy and before you know it you’ve already spent so much money you try it out and it just leads you on day after day
That’s usually true, Lenny! I’m not totally sure if this product has any upsells (I couldn’t get in without paying to find out), but most of these products get you in the door with a lower-priced product and then hit you with all kinds of higher-priced products that you “need” in order to be really successful. I feel bad for the people that spend so much money on these things and still end up going nowhere with it. That’s why I’m doing these reviews. I want to help people avoid that as much as possible.
I’ve got to be honest with you, I’m a blogger by trade, and I see a lot of opportunities like this making the same mistake – the title of their product!
The headline of ‘Five Minute Profit Sites’ completely puts me off, due to the fact that I know how hard it is to build a website that turns over any sort of cash – wouldn’t you agree?
I absolutely agree, Chris! And I understand now where they get their 5 minutes and 17 clicks thing. Yes, with their system, you can build a website in 5 minutes and 17 clicks. (Still cracks me up. It’s just so specific!) But that’s the easy part. The harder part is what comes after – writing content and ranking in Google. That’s a skill that takes quite a while to learn!
I have looked into how to make money online for years now, and the reason that I have never signed up anything that costs money is because I know that a lot of them are either scams or just not worth the money spent on it. That is why when I finally decided to spend my money online I chose Wealthy Affiliate. They do not make any promises of getting rich quick and it takes a lot of work on your part to make any money. If you do not want to do the work then you will not make money here or anywhere.
