12 Minute Affiliate Review [$460 / Day by Copying This System?]

12 Minute Affiliate Review

Welcome to my 12 Minute Affiliate review!

12 Minute Affiliate claims that you can copy this done-for-you system and have an affiliate sales funnel ready to go in about 12 minutes. But does it actually work? Is it worth it?

While I do think this system can work (if you learn how to work it), there are definitely some things you’ll want to know before purchasing.

For instance:

There are going to be some hidden costs.

I explain how it all works and what those hidden costs are all below. Take a look at this 12 Minute Affiliate review and see if this is something that can work for you.

What is 12 Minute Affiliate?

The headline for the 12 Minute Affiliate is a little hype-y, but I understand that in marketing, you need some hype to create excitement.

12 Minute Affiliate Headline

Does the product live up to the hype?

As long as the product can live up to the hype. But can it?

The sales video says that we’re about to discover the 100% dummy-proof system that allows Devon to make $460 a day. And this system is one that we can copy and have up and running within 12 minutes.

The sales video says we’ll discover that this is the exact system we never knew we wanted. It also claims that it’s newbie friendly and doesn’t require tech skills or setting up your own products or websites.

The video has testimonials, and they seem to be real testimonials from real people. I say that because a lot of the products that I review use actors in their testimonials. It’s a trick to make you think they system is really good when it’s not. It’s nice to see that 12 Minute Affiliate isn’t doing that.

Devon says he created 12 Minute Affiliate because he got tired of people promoting easy done-for-you systems that were not easy at all.

He then shares his story and explains that he learned about online marketing from an anti-guru (someone who didn’t live in a fancy mansion, in fact, someone who lived in a townhouse) who made over $10,000 a month. He said the anti-guru guy gave him a secret, which he’s going to share with us.

What is that secret? We’ll get back to it in a bit.

Devon says that 12 Minute Affiliate is about affiliate marketing, which is a great way to do business. Because you don’t need:

  • technical skills
  • to cold call people
  • to invest a ton of money
  • to chase friends and family for sales

I actually agree with this and I’ll talk to you more about affiliate marketing a little later. It’s what I do and it is a fantastic way to earn an income online.

Now, let’s get back to that secret. The secret is…

The 12 Minute Affiliate secret

This secret is not such a secret, but it is true.

That’s not really a secret, but it does make sense. Have you ever read that statistic? That it takes someone about 7 views of something before they’ll buy?

I’m sure you can relate in your own life when you go to buy something. You research it, then you read reviews, then you research it more, then you think about it…

So the real secret is to have an automated system that does all the work following up with prospects while you go about your day or catch some zzzz’s.

According to Devon, that’s what the 12 Minute Affiliate system does. It automates the affiliate marketing sales funnel and just about everything can be done for you.

OK< we have a decent idea of this product, but let’s see if we can dig in a little more.

How Does 12 Minute Affiliate Work?

12 Minute Affiliate is similar to Funnellogics in that it’s a done-for-you affiliate marketing funnel system (with a few key differences, which we’ll talk about in a minute.)

It has marketing funnels for the top-selling affiliate products in Clickbank for three different categories:

  • Make Money Online
  • Weight Loss
  • Personal Development

For instance:

in the make money online niche, you can choose to promote:

You’ll pick a funnel that you like, send traffic to it and see if you can make some sales.

What is a Funnel?

Here is a great article from Entrepreneur about sales funnels and what they are. To put it simply, in a sales funnel you want to capture as many people at the top as possible. As they go through the sales funnel process, more and more people will filter out until you’re left with a smaller amount of purchasers at the end.

You might grab people in a sales funnel through a webinar, or a marketing promotion. You grab their email addresses and now you can build a relationship and market to them more.

While people may drop off of your list, eventually you’re left with a smaller, but targeted group of people who will purchase from you as you gain their trust.

12 Minute Affiliate Sales Funnel Process

With the 12 Minute Affiliate, the sales funnel process goes like this:

  • you choose a lead capture page (where you capture an email address)
  • you choose a product to promote
  • you send leads to the lead capture page
  • you collect email addresses (and hopefully some sales)
  • you follow up with those emails via an email autoresponder
  • you make sales (hopefully)

Timothy Thomas did a great walk through of the back office here, if you’d like to see it in more detail:

12 Minute Affiliate Versus Funnellogics

Funnellogics is another done-for-you sales funnel process that I reviewed. (Take a look at my Funnellogics review for a better comparison.) With Funnellogics, you can grab one of their done-for-you funnels and put it on your own domain name.

You can promote anything you like, there’s not a set list of products to promote. Like 12 Minute Affiliate, you would then send leads to your funnel and start the promoting process.

Funnellogics is better if you want the flexibility to promote whatever you like. 12 Minute Affiliate may be better if you just want to set something up quickly and run with it. I’m going to give you a cost breakdown of both systems below.

Is 12 Minute Affiliate a Scam?

I’m happy to report that I don’t think 12 Minute Affiliate is a scam at all.

In fact, there are some things I even like about it. There are some things that I’m not a fan of though.

Let’s go over the pros and cons.

How Much Does 12 Minute Affiliate Cost?

The price of 12 Minute Affiliate at the time of this writing is $7.95 for a 7-day trial, and then $47 per month after that. I like that you can give it a trial run to see if it’s going to work for you. Is $47 / month expensive? It depends. Can you make more than $47 / month using this system? If you can, then it’s worth it.

But remember I said there are some hidden costs too.

1. An email autoresponder.

You will need a way to send out emails. If you’re going to be in the internet marketing game, this is a necessity anyway. Email autoresponders allow you to set up automated emails so that you can follow up with people on your list in an easy way. My preferred autoresponder is ConvertKit, but there are many different ones out there.

2. Leads.

Within the back office of 12 Minute Affiliate, there’s a place where you can buy leads to send to your offers. I can’t say for sure how much these leads cost, but generally speaking, you can expect to pay $.50 to $1.00 per click.

How Much Does Funnellogics Cost?

I want to compare Funnellogics with 12 Minute Affiliate so that you have options and you can decide what’s best for you. I break it all down in my Funnellogics review, but I’ll give you the basic rundown here.

Funnellogics is $17 for limited (but still good) training. VIP Membership gives you access to the full training, plus additional trainings as they are added. That’s $37 / month, or a one-time fee of $197.

For Funnellogics, you will also need:

  • A domain name (about $13 per year)
  • An autoresponder (about $20 per month)
  • Either Clickfunnels or Thrive Architect for funnel building (if you use Clickfunnels, you won’t need hosting) ClickFunnels is $99 / month and Thrive Architect is a one-time fee of $67. (I personally use and recommend Thrive Architect.)
  • Leads

I believe that either Funnellogics or 12 Minute Affiliate can work if you learn how to work them. I like the flexibility of Funnellogics because you’re not tied to certain programs, but 12 Minute Affiliate makes it simple because they grab the top-selling products for you.

It looks like both programs have Facebook groups for support. I haven’t been in the 12 Minute Affiliate Facebook group, but I am a member of the Funnellogics group, and that team is extremely responsive and supportive. If you have a question, it will get answered quickly.

My #1 Recommendation

While I think 12 Minute Affiliate looks like a good product and can definitely work, my #1 recommendation for affiliate marketing training is Wealthy Affiliate, especially if this is all new to you.

Wealthy Affiliate will take you through the process of setting up an affiliate marketing website step by step. You will learn how to make your own site from scratch and you’ll get a great understanding of the affiliate marketing process and how everything fits together.

You’ll build your website as you go through the training, which makes it easier to learn. You can also learn to promote absolutely anything you want. You’re not tied down to any certain topic.

Wealthy Affiliate uses search engine optimization (SEO) as the main way to get traffic (versus buying leads). This is great because SEO traffic is free traffic. The downside is that it takes time for Google and the other search engines to recognize your site and start to rank it.

What’s great though is that Wealthy Affiliate also provides training on sales funnels, PPC, email marketing and every other strategy you can think of.

What is the Cost of Wealthy Affiliate?

To compare Wealthy Affiliate with the other programs, here is the cost breakdown:

  • Free Starter Membership: Stay a free member as long as you want. No automatic billing. No credit card required. You get 10 lessons, and you can build a website at no cost in these lessons.
  • Premium Membership: $49/ month, or $234 / 6 months, or $359 / year. You get absolutely everything with this price. All the training, live weekly trainings, live chat, private messaging, a keyword research tool, website hosting and so much more.

Other costs:

  • An autoresponder (This isn’t something you need right away, but as I mentioned, if you’re going to be in internet marketing, you will need this eventually)
  • A domain name

Premium members have web hosting included for up to 25 sites.

Conclusion

I hope this 12 Minute Affiliate review gave you enough information to make the best choice for yourself. There are a lot of great products out there (and a lot of not so great ones), and I’m glad you’re doing your research before making a purchase.

I do think 12 Minute Affiliate can work, but you will need to be aware of the hidden costs that can quickly add up (especially buying leads).

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on leads, then I would recommend using Wealthy Affiliate instead and learning SEO strategies. Bring your patience because it does take some time to get your site to rank.

Although, I think it’s always good to learn SEO even if you’re buying leads too because you’ll want to learn how to create a steady stream of free traffic that can supplement your paid-for traffic.

  1. Enjoyed your review of the 12 minute affiliate.  I have looked into both and have also heard really good things about the wealthy affiliate.  Their training program seems to get great reviews and is what appears to attract most people to the system.  Having the ability to earn while you learn makes good sense to this guy.  Cheers!

    • Wealthy Affiliate is my #1 recommendation for a reason. Nothing is perfect, of course, but I really feel that they can help the most people get started with a successful online business more than anything else I’ve seen out there so far.

The one thing that sets them apart is the HUGE community of like-minded people. I’ve yet to come across anything like it. And having community support is so important when you’re working to make something great happen online. It’s nice to have people to go to when you feel stuck.

  2. I appreciate your reminder about a customer having to see something 7 times before they buy. You’re totally right that we have to think about things before making a purchase. 12 Minute Affiliate looks like a decent product as far as sales funnels go. I like that it allows for a low-risk trial and that it focuses on the best-selling products. However I’m not a big fan of upsells. 12 Minute Affiliate looks ok but I’ll stick with a tried and true product in Wealthy Affiliate, thank you!

    • Thanks for your thoughts on my 12 Minute Affiliate review. It’s a smart decision to stick with Wealthy Affiliate, since you can learn about sales funnels there as well. I guess the benefit of 12 Minute Affiliate is that the sales funnels are done for you, but it’s not too hard to put them together yourself.

  3. I signed up for 12 Minute Affiliate, and spent the best part of 24 hours trying to access the membership without success. I contacted customer support via email but still no access. Now after 24 Hours of time wasting for this “Easy 12 minute program” i have given up. I am now going for a PAYPAL refund of my payment. Perhaps I was not meant to become a 12 Minute Member.
